Mary Attends Husband Ewan McGregor’s Walk of Fame Star Ceremony

Update: I have added more photos of Mary at the event as well (totaling over 60+) as an additional video.

In some (obvious) news, Mary was in Los Angeles today on September 12, 2024 to commemorate Ewan getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Mary and Ewan were joined by their son Laurie and three of his children he had with his ex-wife including eldest daughter Clara, Jamyan McGregor and Anouk McGregor.

While Mary did not speak at the ceremony, she posed with Ewan and the rest of the family. I have uploaded some photos of the event into the gallery, but will definitely be adding more soon so stay tuned! I’ve also embedded the entire ceremony for everyone to view below:

‘Rich Flu’ to Premiere at TIFF, First Look Photo and Synopsis!

We finally have a HUGE update on Mary’s long-awaited film ‘Rich Flu’! Remember, the last update we got on this film was way back in November of 2022 when Mary was spotted filming some scenes for the upcoming movie and the news hadn’t come out until February 2023 that she was part of the cast once she replaced Rosamund Pike.

Now it has been revealed that the film will premiere at TIFF on Friday, September 6. However, that first screening will only be accessible to accredited buyers during the Festival. On the TIFF website, the film is also marked as an industry select, making it one of 10 films that go beyond the Official Selection, and are all available for worldwide acquisition.

Basically, after its screening, we’ll eventually find out what studio picks it up to distribute it. In the meantime, the first official photo of Mary in the film has been released, and I have added the full-sized photo in the gallery.

The film’s full plot is as follows:

A strange and unexpected disease is taking the lives of the world’s wealthiest and most influential people. First, the billionaires die, then the multi-millionaires, and so on progressively. The pandemic threatens to reach anyone with any kind of fortune. No one knows where the limit is. At first, the masses joyfully welcome the disappearance of great fortunes, but as the collapse of their economic empires affects the stock market, employment, and economic stability, chaos takes over the First World.

So excited to finally hear some news about it!

Mary and Ewan Spotted at Children’s Hospice Center

Now that Mary and Ewan spend part of their time living in Scotland, the married couple have been spotted around the country. Most recently, the two stopped by Rachel House children’s hospice in Kinross. Ewan, who was also accompanied by brother Colin and his wife Sarah, was given a tour of the hospice by CHAS CEO Rami Okasha before meeting five children with life-shortening conditions who are supported by the charity.

One of the mothers of the families Ewan visited had this to say after meeting Mary and Ewan:

“He came over for a wee visit with his wife Mary and they were both so lovely. Freya is having a BIPAP trial and he came in to see us. They spent a bit of time chatting to us and he was really interested in Freya’s trial.”

“My oldest daughter Katie was there as well so she was really excited to meet his wife, she was a big fan of her films when she was younger. Katie loved watching Robots when she was little – Ewan McGregor did the voiceover for that so she was pretty excited to meet him too.

“Ewan was very interested in us and as he was leaving, he touched Freya’s hand and said ‘Bye Freya’ and it was such a lovely gesture.

“They were both such lovely people, they really took an interest in us and Freya.”

Ewan spent time chatting with all parents and later treated families, staff and volunteers to an impromptu singsong in the lounge area.

You can view photos of their visit in the gallery and donate/learn more about the charity here.
